How will the province be-A A +A

MANY observers say that politics has always been the gauge of the success or failure on governance and progress of any province, city or municipality in this kenkoy country called The Philippines, the land where Pinoys leave their own way in any way.
Western Visayas is also a region to watch. Iloilo City is very lucky that its native Senator Franklin Drilon is so supportive of various projects in his hometown. Unfortunate for Negrenses that it does not have a supportive senator or national figure in the circle of the President’s Men, said one coffee drinker.
When this statement was raise, one old sugar planter was so angered that he said that this province had a Senator before but never showed strong support to Negros Occidental or Bacolod City the way Senator Drilon is pouring funds and projects to his Iloilo City. The Ilonggos there are so happy with Drilon. But this Negrenses senator who claims he is a Negrense has not shown substantial assistance to the province or city, the planter said.
The sugar old man added – He smiles all the time because he needs the votes of the Negrenses but why is it that he resigned as Senator when all those election cheatings were being exposed during the Arroyo days and the alleged cheated Senator married to a Bacolena took over the senatorial swivel chair?, he stressed.
Now that it is election time, this papogi senator appeals and begs for the votes for Negros’ sake. What a hell these politicos are doing to the electorate, the old golfer angrily butted in. Those were the talks and opinions of those coffee drinking observers of politics.
The province of this sugar capital is now into a big fight for various elective positions and surely the best leaders who have proven themselves will make it to the powerful seats of fame and glory. What is most important is they know how to serve their own communities.
Southerners mentioned that Isabela town will have more productive gains with their unrivalled mayoralty candidate Enrique Quito Montilla who hails from that town. Surely Mr. Quito will be a great asset to the Isabelenos and as long as Mayor Quito will have bright men and women around him to support him without selfish motives, then Mayor Quito will make a great name in the progress of Isabela town. Good luck to you Sir!
