SENIOR Superintendent Pedrito Escarilla, officer-in-charge of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), implemented Wednesday the re-assignments in BCPO as some BCPO officials will undergo schooling for career advancement.

Escarilla said Chief Inspector Placido Gentoleo, commander of Police Station 6, was reassigned Wednesday to the BCPO headquarters and was replaced by Senior Inspector Charles Gever of Bacolod City Public Safety Company (BCPSC).

Escarilla said the police officials are required to undergo schooling for their promotion.

Meanwhile, Police Stations 2 and 9 will be temporarily headed by their deputies, Inspector Stephen Boniba and Inspector Wilfredo Gelongo, respectively.

Escarilla said Senior Inspector Armilyn Vargas was assigned to head the BCPO Administration.

Chief Inspector Levy Pangue, deputy of City Mobile Group (CMG), was reassigned to head the Investigation and Detective Management Branch to replace Chief Inspector Ulysses Ortiz, who was reassigned to the Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office (Noppo).

Chief Inspector Adonis Rosales, head of City Police Strategy and Management Unit, was reassigned to head the CMG.

The BCPO chief is also planning to deactivate the Special Operations Group led by Supt. Alexander Ermeo, deputy city director for operation of BCPO.
