MULTIPLE murder and frustrated homicide suspect Noel Ayalin will be presented to the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 69 in Silay City today, Senior Superintendent Milko Lirazan, police provincial director, said.

Lirazan said Ayalin, who was escorted by intelligence operatives of Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office led by Senior Insp.Erma Jocson from San Fernando City, Pampanga, arrived in Silay City around 7 p.m. Saturday.

He said that after Ayalin is presented before the court, the judge will issue a commitment order on where he will be detained.

Ayalin, before he was arrested in Iba, Zambales last week, was the number one most wanted in Western Visayas region with an P800,000 bounty on his head.

A fugitive for three years, he is charged with four counts of murder and three counts of frustrated homicide after he shot to death four village officials of Barangay Kapitan Ramon, Silay City on March 6, 2011. Three others were injured, including incumbent village chief Ramon Celebre.

The fatalities were council members Luzviminda Cotamen, Pedrito Orocio, Freddie Juno, and SK chair Imee Occeña. The two other survivors were council member Salvacion Corugda and village Lenny Llorca.

Ayalin, the former village chief, was arrested in the presence of Celebre in Zambales.

Lirazan said the P800,000 reward will be given to the person who provided information that resulted to the arrest of Ayalin.

They are still validating the source of the intelligence report that led to the arrest of Ayalin, he added.
