THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) reprimanded Monday two cops who transferred three detainees to a police station using a public utility vehicle (PUV) last month.

BCPO officer-in-charge Senior Superintendent Larry Decena warned Police Officer 1 (PO1) Rolly Jardinico and Police Officer 2 (PO2) Richard Daniela, saying: “repetition of the same offense will be acted upon severely.”

Photos of Jardinico and Daniela boarding a jeepney surfaced on a social media site after the two were seen escorting three detainees from the Hall of Justice to Police Station 1 (PS1) in April this year.

The photo garnered negative comments from netizens.

The policemen said they boarded a jeepney, because the station’s patrol car was not available.

Decena said the two cops should face sanctions. (MAP)
