A PEDICAB driver was hacked by his two neighbors at Purok Sagrado 2, Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City Tuesday evening.

The victim was identified as Wilfredo Nilay, 51, a resident of the same area, Senior Inspector Argel Ancheta, Police Station 4 chief, said.

Ancheta said Nilay was wounded on his stomach when he was hacked by his neighbors Archie Capun-an and Roger Nilay using a bolo.

Nilay was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, and the two suspects are still at-large.

The victim is now in stable condition, and they are preparing the documents for the filing of charges for frustrated homicide against the suspects, Ancheta said. (MAP)
