SENIOR Superintendent Larry Decena, acting director of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), has reminded all 10 police station commanders to intensify their campaign against illegal gambling, loose firearms and illegal drugs or else they will be relieved from their posts.

During a command conference at the BCPO headquarters Monday, he told station commanders that those who cannot comply with the requirements will have to go.

He said all station commanders are required to submit reports on their apprehensions against illegal drugs, loose firearms and illegal gambling.

If within two months a station commander fails to comply, he will be relieved, Decena added.

He said his office will monitor all the crime incidents in different police stations, and he required the police stations to submit their reports to the BCPO.

Those who fail to submit crime incident reports, either major or minor incident, will facing charges, the city police chief said.

He also reminded the police stations to allow the public to check the blotter reports especially the members of the media because these are public documents.

“Anybody can access the police blotter reports,” Decena said.

He added that the outgoing police officer should also turnover the reports to the incoming police officer. (MAP)
