BUSINESSMAN Vladimir Gonzalez and his family will lay to rest his wife Marian Angeli “Geli” del Castillo-Gonzalez in a sunset burial Sunday.

Geli succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 47. The funeral rites at Santuario de Bacolod will start at 3:30 p.m.

Gonzalez said his wife was diagnosed with cancer last November. “It started with a simple cough. Nobody suspected that it will turn out this way. The time super typhoon Yolanda hit Tacloban was also the day we discovered that she has lung cancer,” he said.

Gonzalez said that in the past three months he brought his wife for treatment in Singapore and in Fuda Cancer Hospital in Guangzhou, China.

Gonzalez said he will make cancer treatment as his advocacy.
