Negros has 280,000 unreleased voter’s IDs-A A +A

REGISTERED voters who have not yet claimed their Commission on Election (Comelec) identification cards (IDs) can check these out with their respective city and municipal election offices.
Records of Comelec in Negros Occidental showed that about 280,000 voter’s IDs remain undistributed in the entire province.
In the first district, unreleased IDs total 11,152 in Calatrava; 1,317 in Salvador Benedicto; 10,600 in Escalante City; 14,061 in San Carlos City; and 3,020 in Toboso.
In the second district, 564 IDs are still undistributed in Cadiz City; 3,733 in Manapla; and 11,167 in Sagay City while in the third district, 7,891 in E.B. Magalona; 2,850 in Murcia; 11,607 in Silay City; 8,720 in Talisay City; and 10,217 in Victorias City.
In the fourth district, 10,616 in Bago City; 7,381 in La Carlota City; 3,180 in Pontevedra; 819 in Pulupandan; 2,812 in San Enrique; and 3,576 in Valladolid.
In the fifth district, 8,382 in Binalbagan; 13,297 in Himamaylan City; 1,300 in Hinigaran; 5,985 in Isabela; 3,225 in La Castellana; and 3,496 in Moises Padilla while in the sixth district, 3,112 in Candoni; 5,066 in Cauayan; 8,498 in Hinobaan; 6,656 in Ilog; 2,628 in Kabankalan City; and 8,903 in Sipalay City.
In the lone district of Bacolod City, a total of 84,558 voter’s IDs remain undistributed.
