6 new Bacolod nurses top licensure exam-A A +A

SIX examinees from Bacolod City are among those who garnered the Top 10 places in the Nurse Licensure Examination (NLE) held in December 2013 by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Lester Canajero Sapar of University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos placed second with a score of 86.
Charmaine Canja of Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod placed fifth while Charity Paniergo Mondragon of West Negros University landed the sixth spot.
Marseth Chavez Anota also of CSA-Bacolod was in ninth place while Nikky Patroceño Canarejo and Kayeshe Sucaldito Torres, both of CSA-Bacolod, placed 10th.
Kristine Joei Azarcon Danan of New Era University and Nikko Martel Viray Dio of the Pamantasan ng Lunsod ng Maynila shared the number one spot, both receiving a score of 86. 20.
The PRC said that 10,977 out of 35,475 examinees passed the latest NLE.
The top three schools in terms of number of passers are University of St. Louis -Tuguegarao with a passing rate of 98.53 percent; Xavier University, 97.84 percent; and Mariano Marcos State University-Batac, 97.33 percent.
The PRC Board of Nursing administered the examination in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag, Legazpi, Lucena, Nueva Ecija, Pagadian, Pampanga, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga. (NLG)
