THE inauguration of re-elected Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr., along with newly-elected Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, is set on Saturday, June 30, in front of the Old Provincial Capitol Building.

The members of the new Provincial Board (PB) are also set to join the inauguration.

Marañon said that he welcomes the decision of Lacson and other newly elected and re-elected members of the PB who will be joining him in the inauguration.

He said politics is over after the election and that he has been asking for unity and cooperation of everybody, foes and friends alike, to be able to achieve progress in the province.

Marañon leads the United Negros Alliance, while Lacson belongs to the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC).

The new PB is also composed of the majority of NPC members.
