Fetus buried under tree

A CONSTRUCTION worker found a fetus inside a bottle buried under a tree at 18th Lacson Street, Bacolod City Monday.

Nielbert Silva, 31, from Bacolod City, turned over the fetus to the Station 2 which was placed inside a bottle around 11 a.m.

Silva said that when they tried uprooting the old tree along 18th Lacson Street, they found a bottle with a fetus inside.


Silva immediately turned over the fetus to police of Station 2 which then endorsed it to the Women and Children Protection Desk.

The police said the fetus was believed to be four or five months old while the gender could not yet be determined.

The WCPD a turned over to the barangay official in 18th Lacson Street.
The fetus was buried Monday. (MAP)
