Bacolod’s MassKara Queen screening Sept. 6-A A +A

Organizers of the MassKara Queen 2014 of Bacolod City will hold a screening of candidates tomorrow, Sept. 6, at 2 p.m. at the Sugarland Hotel.
This year’s MQ will be presented as more than just a beauty pageant; it will about beauty, brains and a cause, organizers said.
The MassKara Queen must be a Bacolodnon woman who is intelligent, well-mannered, cultured and with a strong sense of purpose in order to be most deserving to be called the city’s ambassadress of goodwill, they added.
Candidates of must be a Filipino citizen, a resident of Bacolod, aged 18 to 24, single, at least 5’4” tall, with pleasing personality, good moral character.
The Masskara Queen will win as much as P100,000 in prizes; represent Bacolod City in a national beauty pageant, will have a chance to touch lives and make positive change in the community through service activity programs.
The pageant night will be on October 10 at the University of St. La Salle coliseum. (PR)
