THREE major events for fitness enthusiasts will happen at SM City Bacolod on Saturday, June 28.

From 5 p.m. onwards, the mall’s southwing vacant lot will be jam-packed with day-to-night affair of music, dance and exercise.

Kicking off the party is the Z-Dance Fitness Marathon with celebrity dance instructress Regine Tolentino.

Tolentino is a television host, actress, dancer and Zumba instructor.

The Zumba moves with Tolentino would seem to be your preparations for the next event, the famous Color Manila Nite Run—a marathon.

Instead of the usual early morning races, the Color Manila Nite Run gathers its runners at SM City Bacolod southwing vacant lot at 9 p.m.

Established in Manila last year, the event quickly garnered a following for its fitness objectives that incorporated a colorful hype that proves to be fun and very entertaining to participants and onlookers.

In the Nite Run, the main streets of Bacolod will see colors from all angles when runners illuminate the night run’s routes with glow-in-the-dark apparel and other personal neon effects and accessories.

Runners of all ages are welcome to join, with three categories to choose from: 3K, 5K and 10K. Registered runners are entitled to a race bib, a certified Color Manila Nite shirt, glow glasses and neon sticks, and a finisher’s medal.

Tickets for the Nite Run are available at SM’s mini-food court. Visit www.colormanilanite.com for more details about the race.
To cap this fun day of fitness and run, the Color Manila Nite Run team is proud to bring in celebrity DJ Tommy T for the Nite Run after-party with retro beats.

DJ Tommy T is Tom Taus, a child actor of local showbiz of the 90s. After migrating to the U.S. with his family, including sister and actress Antoinette, the now 25-year-old Taus has found success as a DJ in premiere Los Angeles clubs. Aside from spinning records, he is also busy making his own brand of music.

The music lasts for as long as you can party. (PR)
