Gallery Orange to open all-women exhibit-A A +A

IN CELEBRATION of the International Women’s Month this March, Gallery Orange presents “Various,” an exhibit of the 16 women artists of Negros.
The exhibition will open on Monday, March 10, at 7 p.m. and will run until March 31, according to Gallery Orange manager Carmel Hibaler.
It will feature the works of Eri Aikawa, Marisol Alquizar, Moreen Austria, Christine Bangero, Cindy Ballesteros, Nilda Claviraz, Marse Cuenca, Guenivere Decena, Joanne Ganchita, Karina Broce Gonzales, Intel Japitana, Jo Macasa, Alexandria Mesias, Aya Ongsioco, Leah Samson, and Abbie Uychat.
“Various” will include art installations, drawings, paintings, photographs, sculptures, mixed media and films, depicting the ideas, creativity, impression and expression of the artists of today’s generation through their arts, Hibaler said.
Gallery Orange is located at the second floor Annex Building of Lopue’s Mandalagan in Bacolod. Gallery hours starts at 2 p.m. and ends at 9 p .m. from Mondays to Saturdays. (Ana Patricia C. Talam)
