MARCO Polo Plaza, Cebu’s finest urban resort and business hotel, invites Bacolodnons and Negrenses to avail of “Cebu Escapade,” a special rate exclusively offered for residents of Negros Occidental and Iloilo.

From February 24 to September 30, Negrenses and Ilonggos can stay at the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu for P1,650 per person, says Kyra Cabaero, the hotel’s Media Communications manager, at a product presentation at Mu Shu Asian restaurant in Bacolod yesterday.

The special rate is good for a minimum of two persons per night, or P3,300, she explains.

Cabaero was with Gemma Baz, assistant director of Sales, and Finzy Sacay, Banquet Sales executive, at the product presentation.

Considered a landmark in Cebu, Marco Polo Plaza is the only hotel in Cebu nestled on a hilltop, thus offering a panoramic view of the city, the Mactan Channel and neighboring islands.

The 24-storey hotel has 329 well-appointed guest rooms, including 20 suites with spacious bathrooms, fine amenities, and modern features.

Marco Polo Plaza provides lifestyle dining and lounging experience in any of its four distinct food and beverage outlets: Café Marco, BLU Bar & Grill, Lobby Lounge, and El Viento Restaurant & Pool Bar.

Café Marco, the signature outlet of Marco Polo Plaza, was awarded the 5th Best Restaurant in the Philippines for 2013 by The Miele Guide.

Tatler Philippines has named BLU Bar & Grill as one of the country’s best restaurants for 2012. Sun.Star Cebu, in its weekend magazine’s annual Best of Cebu 2013 issue, has named Marco Polo Plaza Cebu as the Best City Hotel.

Marco Polo Plaza is 25 minutes from the Mactan International Airport and 10 minutes from the main business district and shopping malls.

It is the eighth addition to the internationally renowned Hong Kong Hotel Group.
