IT WAS the Dinagyang Kasadyahan Regional Competition at the recent Dinagyang Festival 2013 where we spotted Silay City Mayor Oti Montelibano along with Luis Locsin who were both in the Freedom Grandstand, the main viewing area of the festival tribes competition.

And only when I was handed the Dinagyang Profile handbook where I noticed that Silay City was a participant to the Kasadyahan Competition, a tribal competition where entries come from schools or cities or provinces.

When it was time for the Silay tribe to perform, it was my turn to announce their entry to the viewing stand having been privileged to be one of the cable TV hosts for that competition shown live during that day.

Then I noticed Silay City First Lady Marissa Reinoso-Montelibano walking briskly with Janette Garcia-Sanchez looking for Mayor Oti who she saw at the grandstand while Iloilo City Mayor Jed Mabilog was waving at Marissa to come up the grandstand.

The dramatic performance of the Tribu Hugyaw Kansilayan was something that wowed the audience with all their applauses. It was nice of Silay City to showcase their festival performances and be part of the Dinagyang Festival.

Here are some photos that Your Spotliter Toots took while watching the Tribu HK perform so vividly well with precision.
