Piolo Pascual to hold concert in Bacolod on July 5

ULTIMATE heartthrob Piolo Pascual will take Bacolod by storm tomorrow, July 5, as he unleashes his charm and singing prowess to hundreds of fans in a concert titled, “A Night to Remember,” at the University of St. La Salle coliseum at 8 p.m.

Pascual’s special guests include comedienne Pokwang and teen sensation Julia Barretto, the mother-daughter tandem of hit teleserye “Mirabella,” with the special participation of G-Force and comedians duo Wacky Kiray and Ace, and Bonito.

The concert is produced by JMM Media Productions. Its chief executive officer, JM Maningo, will also direct the show.


Maningo has been producing and directing shows and concerts top-billed by popular artists. He has been bringing many of the brightest starts in showbiz to Bacolod since 2005. This will be the eighth concert he is producing in Negros Occidental.

Tickets to “A Night to Remember” are priced at P1,500 (VIP), P1,000, P500 and P150. The P150 ticket has a “5+1 promo.” There will be a red carpet for the VIP P1,500, P1,000 and P500 wherein a couple will be declared winners of P5,000 each and a ticket each to watch ASAP Live in Manila. The beneficiary of the concert is the USLS –Busog Lusog Talino feeding program.


Maningo finished Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Sto. Tomas and Master of Arts in Business Management at the Singapore Institute of Management.

A successful businessman, Maningo is also into TV and print ad modeling. Aside from being an ace badminton player, he finds joy in producing and directing quality shows and concerts.

For every show produced by JMM Media Productions, Maningo promises an exceptional entertainment with top-rating artists and performers.

Among the recent shows he produced and directed were the concerts of Bamboo in September 2013, and ABRA.

He was also responsible for putting together in Bacolod shows ABS-CBN stars like Daniel Padilla, Richard Yap, Aaron Villafor, Jessy Mendiola, Xian Lim, Empress Schuck, Chokoleit, Princess Ryan, G-Force and the Sexbomb dancers.

Maningo pioneered the idea of incorporating the comedians of Laffline and Punchlines in his shows, thus becoming a trademark of JMM Media Productions.
