MARCO Polo Plaza Cebu, the only five-star hotel in Cebu, has launched its "Cebu Escapade" special package exclusively for Bacolodnons and Ilonggos.

Gemma Baz, assistant director of Sales, and Ma. Teresa Catipay, Banquet and Catering manager, went to Bacolod City on Monday to promote the hotel's special package to Bacolodnons and Ilonggos.

Under the Cebu Escapade promo, one can avail of Marco Polo’s international standard accommodation for P1,333 net per person with buffet breakfast.

Catipay said that the offer is good for a minimum of three persons in a room at P1,333 each. The three must stay at Marco Polo Plaza for a minimum of two nights.

The promo is valid from February 15 to July 2013.

Guests who want to avail themselves of the promo must present a Cebu Escapade coupon along with proof of residence upon check in.

"This is really a very special package. One can have more time to avail of this package and enjoy the facilities and Cebu in general," Catipay said.

"We are very close to the business district. We consider our hotel as a graceful and elegant lady who has withstood the test of time. She was opened in the 1980's but, up to now, the hotel stands proud," she added.

She also said that their rates are very attractive and their people are very friendly.

"We always anticipate the needs of our guests. We value them by giving them something that they can remember fondly when they are out of the hotel. The hotel is also noted for its food where it was awarded recently as Top 5 in the Philippines when it comes to food. Cafe Marco was the only one which was given this distinguished award outside of Metro Manila," she said.

Catipay said they are very particular with their service to their guests because they believe that, once the guests are happy and satisfied with the service and facilities, they will surely say something good once they go home. They also help spread the good news.
